How does it work? Ice and snow melting systems keep roofs and gutters, driveways, stairs and drain-pipes safe and sound throughout winter.
Our thermostats and sensors detect temperature differences and switch the heat on or off as required in the areas that require a touch of warmth. Only the very minimum of energy is used. This means you can stop using salt on your driveway, preventing salt damage. You can also stop worrying about the destructive effects of frost.

Danfoss ice and snow melting systems keep roofs, drainpipes and gutters safe and sound in cold temperatures
Danfoss outdoor heating systems are equipped with energy efficient and cost reducing, advanced intelligent thermostats that automatically regulate the system based on the actual temperature and humidity conditions. In cold but dry weather, the system remains inactive, saving energy and costs. When the weather is cold and wet, the system is automatically activated, quickly melting snow and preventing the build-up of ice. Nevertheless, you always have the option to manually control the system via the thermostat.
An outdoor heating system from Danfoss is quick to install, easy to control and inexpensive to operate. The desired snow and ice prevention effect can be fully achieved by installing cables only in those areas that are most susceptible to major build-ups of snow and ice, for example where buildings meet each other, around exposed down pipes or at points where the most melt water is channeled.
Danfoss pipe heating systems prevent frost damage and keep liquids flowing when outside temperatures fall below zero.
